Pixologic doesn’t call it dynamic smoothing but rather Tessimation… a combination of tessellation and decimation and this is straight out the documentation. Now it only takes one brush and sometimes one pass. This could be done before but it usually took more than one brush. The other great feature about the dynamic smoothing is its ability to remove features like an ear or nose leaving no trace of the original feature.
A large smoothing brush will remove all features quickly while a tiny smoothing brush does just the opposite allowing for a more controlled refined approach to smoothing.
